I went to the GP for issues with ADHD I was told I can’t have ADHD has I am a highly qualified health care practitioner!! I’ve suffered all my life with all adhd symptoms but I was told I was suffering from anxiety! I’ve never had anxiety in my life! He never asked me any question about adhd he asked what I did for work and because I’m a band 7 nurse I was told that I couldn’t possiblely have adhd. even though I have the highest score on the nhs adhd score for the right to choose
Reception staff were very efficient in getting me an appointment the same day for an acute illness. Alison, nurse practitioner I then saw, was brilliant and very caring. She listened to all my concerns and I felt she went above and beyond in getting me the correct treatment, not just a quick check and sent on my way. Very grateful for all of the above.
Never have a problem getting an appt to see Dr Cassar or one of the lovely nurses. Appt was with Dr Cassar, as usual he explained the results of all my recent tests in an easy to understand way. He has a lovely manner and does all he can to sort out any health issues.
Was booked in to have bloods taken with the lovely nurse Piroska. She has a lovely manner, is kind and courteous. I also had an ecg and shingles vaccine at the same appt. I was very grateful to be offered all treatments at the same time rather than me returning to the surgery for a further 2 separate appts.
The doctor was on time. He was extremely good at explaining my simtoms and my treatment. He as changed my tablets and booked me a nother appointment .
